Elvis Ain't Dead Fest is the second commemoration of the anniversary of Elvis faking his Death. Last year's city paper award winner for 'best festival inspired by a conspiracy theory', this year's festival will prove to be even better with the help of sponsorship by PBR and the fine folks at the Charleston Pour House. The event will be a 5 band battle of the Elvi held on August 18, 2017 at the Pour House with doors opening at 8pm and shows starting at 9pm. An Elvis inspired dinner will be available, made possible by Spero and The Lot. Follow dinner with desert as Brown's Court will be recreating Elvis and Priscilla's wedding cake and the King knew how to eat. In between band sets, the back patio will have plenty to keep your attention. Pick your favorite Elvis impostor to have a photo at the Elvis 'dead' on the toilet photo area, or peruse through the multiple vintage vendors who will be set up with threads the King would don while not performing on stage. 100% guarantee that the real king will be on hand, here on vacation from Argentina, but prizes will be handed out to the best Elvis impersonator costume as well as the best Priscilla impersonator costume (no guarantee the real Priscilla will be on hand).
